Paolo Rizzo

Born in 1992 in San Cesareo di Lecce, at the age of 8 he discovered music playing the acoustic guitar, and later he moved onto electric bass and began studying music theory. At the age of fourteen, he enrolled in the double bass class at the “Tito Schipa” Conservatory in Lecce, where he studied for five years while completing his classical high school studies. The encounter with Barbara Morello marked the beginning of his path in violin making. At her advice, he subsequently enrolled at the Parma Violin Making School “Renato Scrollavezza” taught by Elisa Scrollavezza and Andrea Zanré, graduating in 2021. Immediately thereafter, he moved to Cremona to further develop his skills.
